Cybex 626a Arc Trainer

The 626A Arc Trainer has the leg movement and all other features of the 626A Total Body Arc Trainer. Designed to focus on the lower body, this cross trainer is popular with establishments looking to offer variety to their users. Train for strength, power, endurance and cardio. The Cybex Arc Trainer offers wide incline and resistance ranges, meaning it's effectively 3 machines in one. At lower incline levels, the "glide" is that of a cross-country skier. At intermediate levels, the movement is a "stride" (like on an elliptical, but with good positioning). At high levels, the "climb" of a stepper or climber. Glide, Stride, and Climb. Many programs also make the Arc Trainer pleasant to use.

  • Easy on the joints
  • Dimensions: 76″ x 32″ x 62.5″ (LxWxH)
  • Machine weight: 404 lbs
  • Maximum user weight: 400 lbs

This is what makes the Arc an Arc. The unique Reverse Arc motion, a patented advanced stride technology, never places the user's toe behind the knee (when the toe moves behind the knee, the knee joint experiences much more stress important). The Reverse Arc movement moves the legs in a biomechanically correct path - reducing stress on the knee while providing full range of motion for the knee and hip.

LOAD DEPENDENT

Arc is load dependent, meaning the resistance is matched to the user's weight. Two people training, a man who weighs 230 pounds and a woman who weighs 120 pounds, get the same workout when they enter the same program levels and their own weight. The perfect workout...and only Cybex has it.

REVERSE ARC MOVEMENT

This is what makes the Arc an Arc. The unique Reverse Arc motion, a patented advanced stride technology, never places the user's toe behind the knee (when the toe moves behind the knee, the knee joint experiences much more stress important). The Reverse Arc movement moves the legs in a biomechanically correct path - reducing stress on the knee while providing full range of motion for the knee and hip.

MUSCLE TARGETING

The wide range of resistance and incline makes the Arc Trainer unique. From deconditioned people to professional athletes, it's suitable for everyone! With this wide range of incline and resistance, anyone using this product will notice that they have the ability to emphasize specific muscle groups, whether at higher incline levels such as a squat movement. not for working the quads or at lower incline levels with increased resistance to firm the butt!

SLIDE, STRIDE AND CLIMB ZONES

The Arc offers three exercise zones for ultimate variety: Low position for "Glide", middle position for "Stride" and high position for "Climb".
