The Precor UBK 835 Self-Powered Upright Bike features 12 programs with 25 resistance levels, plus a custom-designed 3-position handlebar with integrated touchscreen and telemetric heart rate monitoring for an effective workout experience with maximum comfort.
Additionally, the unit features one-handed seat adjustment on or off the bike, a redesigned saddle for riding comfort, and improved pedal axle geometry (KOPS) for efficient pedaling. The seat and pedals can also be replaced with your own for a personalized feel and ride.

Finally, an LED console that works harder for you during your workouts. The console displays your speed, RPM, distance, calories, heart rate, elapsed time and remaining time, all on a well-lit, easy-to-read screen.

To achieve proper pedaling biomechanics, the seatpost and seat post offset from the crank are essential to facilitate efficient pedaling and reduce shearing force on the knee. The seat post angle is 74 degrees with a 5 inch (13 cm) offset from the crank axle. This places the front knee directly over the ball of the foot (or pedal axle) when the pedals are in a horizontal position. |

| Handlebar |
A new over-molded handlebar design offers the user three comfortable riding positions: upright, cruise and road. In the road position, the ergonomically shaped handlebars position the wrists in a natural and neutral position. The large width of the handlebars provides stability and comfort across the entire forearm. The overall width of the handlebars is similar to indoor cycling bikes, which is narrower than most stationary bikes. This places the user in a better ergonomic position with the forearms more directly under the shoulders. In the cruising position, the wide handlebars are more comfortable for the user's hands. Touch heart rate is integrated in the upright and road running positions. |
