Seat adjustment
The familiar pop-up pin seat adjustment allows the user to easily change the seat to the desired height.
Handlebar
The overmolded handlebars offer the user three comfortable riding positions: upright, cruising, and road. In the road position, the ergonomically shaped handlebars position the wrists in a natural, neutral position. The optimal width of the handlebars provides stability and comfort across the entire forearm. The overall width of the handlebars is similar to that of indoor bikes, which are narrower than most stationary bikes. This places the user in a better ergonomic position, with the forearms more directly under the shoulders. In the cruising position, the handlebars are more comfortable for the user's hands. Touch-sensitive heart rate is integrated in the upright position.
Pedals
The oversized single-sided pedals with integrated pedal strap comfortably fit feet of all sizes, allowing for proper pedaling posture. The weighted pedals make it easy to place your foot on the pedal.
Biomechanics
To achieve proper pedaling biomechanics, the seatpost angle and the offset of the seatpost relative to the crank are critical for efficient pedaling and reduced shear force on the knee. The seatpost angle is 74 degrees with a 13 cm (5 in) offset from the crank axle. This places the front knee directly over the ball of the foot (or pedal axle) when the pedals are in a horizontal position.
